As we are nearing Christmas, I hope your excitement is building. We get to celebrate the coming of our King! It is fitting for those of us who believe in Jesus to pull out all the stops for him. He is worthy of all the honor and attention that we will give Him this Christmas. That’s because the One who was born in Bethlehem thousands of years ago is the light of the world. He is our Redeemer, the risen Lord, who frees us from our bondage to sin.

On Sunday, we will celebrate the coming of our King by focusing on His final recorded resurrection appearance in John’s gospel. There is incredible hope within these vignettes in chapter 21: Jesus gives abundant provision to his disciples, he restores Peter, and amazingly, we learn that John only scratched the surface of all that Jesus did while he was on earth. 

O Come Let us Adore Him- Christ the Lord!
