In the days before smartphones and GPS, when you got lost on the road, you had two options: 

1. You could try to find your way back on your own, or
2. You could ask for directions. 

The same two options are available to us when we are lost, or struggling, or feel distance in our relationship with God. If you’ve lived long enough, you know that option #1, trying to find your way back to God on your own, doesn’t work. Instead, God invites us to ask Him for help.

This Sunday in Malachi 3:6-12 we will be confronted with God’s people who had indeed lost their way, but also who were unaware of just how lost they were. They were robbing God, while not even realizing they were thieves. God’s solution was for them to return to Him. To repent.

We can be like God’s people in Malachi. Sometimes we fail to realize how much we’re missing the mark. If this is the case, we need God’s Word to bring us back to reality, and we need God’s help to bring us back to the road of faith. Join us on Sunday as we learn about God’s blessing that comes through repentance.
