About Learning

Christians need to have a life long commitment to learning about the Bible and learning of Christ, that is, being a ‘disciple’ of him. It is a matter of the mind, but more than merely that. It is also a matter of the heart, and therefore of life.  As a church our commitment to teaching the Bible and learning from the Bible goes right through every area of church life and ministry.  We teach the Bible from the Pulpit, in Sunday School, in our small groups, and our other ministries. Our goal is to have the Bible direct our decisions and vision.  We are to be ‘word driven’; shaped and formed by the teaching of the Bible in worldview, and also in very practical ways.

At Hope Fellowship, this means that we are characterized by our biblical teaching and our personal self study in devotion. We seek to be built on a strong doctrinal footing and continually strive to “teach what accords with sound doctrine” (Titus 2:1) in such a way that we together will see the importance of studying God’s Word and seek to apply it in daily life and practice.
